The great 20th century scientist Albert Einstein had a theory called “Spooky Action at a Distance” which describes a phenomenon in physics called “quantum entanglement”. The basic idea is that there are situations where two particles act as though they were connected to each other even though they are at different locations, sometimes miles apart. This is the theory that Spooky Remote bases on.

A quantum entanglement experiment has recently been performed by Chinese scientists. They have published papers in the international journals on June 15th, claiming China’s “Mozi” quantum satellites have achieved thousands of miles of quantum entanglement in the world for the first time, which means that quantum communication has taken a big step towards practical applications.
