Welcome to the Thirteenth Phase of Our Virtual Meditation Challenge!
In this phase, we explore the nature of impermanence and learn to recognize the constant flow of change within ourselves and the world around us. Everything we experience is shaped by conditions and continues to transform moment by moment. By understanding this natural process, we can gradually release the tendency to hold tightly onto what is always changing.
Through meditation, we will explore:
● How to observe the changing nature of thoughts, emotions, and sensations without attachment.
● How to recognize that the body, experiences, and circumstances are constantly shifting through conditions.
● How understanding impermanence can bring greater acceptance, flexibility, and inner peace.
● How to rest in awareness while allowing all experiences to arise and pass naturally.
Nothing remains exactly the same from one moment to the next. Thoughts appear and disappear like clouds moving across the sky. Emotions rise and settle like waves returning to the ocean. The body, relationships, and the world around us are all part of this continuous flow of transformation.
When we deeply understand impermanence, we begin to loosen the desire to control every moment or hold onto what cannot stay unchanged. Instead, we learn to meet each experience with greater openness and appreciation.
As we sit quietly, body still, speech silent, mind open. We begin to see change not as something to resist, but as an essential part of life’s natural rhythm. This practice invites us to discover a deeper sense of freedom, calm, and clarity within the ever-changing flow of experience.
