While many people are still wondering whether remote healing is superstition, many scientific researches have already shown quite a positive result on this topic. Below are some of the articles.

The efficacy of “distant healing”: a systematic review of randomized trials.
University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, USA. (2000 Jun 6) Conclusion: The methodological limitations of several studies make it difficult to draw definitive conclusions about the efficacy of distant healing. However, given that approximately 57% of trials showed a positive treatment effect, the evidence thus far merits further study.

A systematic review of the quality of research on hands-on and distance healing: clinical and laboratory studies.
Samueli Institute for Information Biology, Alexandria, Va., USA. (2003 May-Jun;9) Conclusion: When laboratory studies were compared to clinical studies in the areas of hands-on healing and distance healing across the quality criteria for internal validity, distance healing studies scored better than hands-on healing studies, and laboratory studies fared better than clinical studies. Many studies of healing contained major problems that must be addressed in any future research.

“Spooky actions at a distance”: physics, psi, and distant healing.
Department of Philosophy, Loyola College in Maryland, Baltimore, MD 21210, USA.( 2005 Oct;11)?More recently scientists have begun a rigorous study of the effects of distant healing intention and prayer vis-a-vis nonhuman living systems and patients in clinical trials. A barrier to taking such work seriously may be the belief that it is fundamentally incompatible with the scientific world view.

Evidence for correlations between distant intentionality and brain function in recipients: a functional magnetic resonance imaging analysis. Earl and Doris Bakken Foundation, North Hawaii Community Hospital, Kamuela, HI 95743, USA. ( 2005 Dec;11) It was concluded that instructions to a healer to make an intentional connection with a sensory isolated person can be correlated to changes in brain function of that individual.
