About Spooky2 Global Aid Foundation
As many of you may know, Spooky2 Global Aid Foundation, established by Spooky2 in 2021, is a platform where we offer every customer the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the world. By donating $3 from each order, and with the support of our customers, we can make a tremendous impact on the lives of those in need!
Look what we have done in the last three months:
Assistance to Robin and His Grandchildren
Robin is our royal customer. Unfortunately, his son had died of liver cirrhosis, leaving 9-year-old Fiona and 8-year-old Finnian behind. Their mother is trying to take good care of them, but she can hardly make a living.
Robin wanted to raise money to help the family, especially the two kids. We noticed his request and decided to support him. He was very touched by our donation and thanked us a lot. We hope the family will overcome their difficulty and the children will grow up safely and happily.
Sponsoring 50 Students in Guatemala
Do you know Guatemala? It is a country in Central America where half the population still lives in poverty, and 60% of children are malnourished. Numerous people struggle with the lack of education and health care, yet schooling is the only hope for these children to escape poverty.
However, many children are forced to drop out of school because they cannot afford the tuition fees. What is left for them is to go back home to help their parents, get married at an early age, repeat the lifestyle of their parents, and fall into an endless cycle of poverty.
They are trapped in $10. Yes, $10 per month can help a child continue to learn.
After working with these children and witnessing their obstacles, Sebastian called us for help. After receiving Sebastian’s request, we decided to donate 500 US dollars per month to help these children continue their education.
Donating Products to Samen Krachtig
In January 2023, we received a call from Samen Krachtig — an independent non-profit organization located in the Netherlands. Samen Krachtig believes in building a new society where people are self-sufficient and responsible for their health and the environment. It strives to create a community where people can use their talents and passions to achieve their goals regardless of age, gender, or culture and focus on their potential. What is worth mentioning is that Samen Krachtig attempts self-reliance in areas such as food supply, health, and education. Because of this, they wanted to know more about Spooky2.
When they approached us, we recognized the alignment of our values and were happy to support their mission by donating a Spooky2 XM Essential Kit. We believe Spooky2 can empower communities like Samen Krachtig to build a better and more sustainable world by sharing knowledge and tools.
Aid for the Disaster-Stricken Areas of Turkey and Syria
On February 6, two strong earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.8 hit the southern part of Turkey near the Syrian border. The earthquakes struck in the early morning, causing severe damage to houses and casualties.
As soon as we heard the news, we went into action by contacting various public welfare channels. Our supplies successfully reached the disaster-stricken area through the Syrian rescue team funded by New Sunshine Charity Foundation (NSCF).
The work started in Aleppo, the northernmost city in Syria. The team purchased urgently needed materials locally and tried to rescue more trapped people.
In addition, we bought a lot of essential goods and sent them to the warehouses of the Turkish Embassy and the Syrian Embassy within 24 hours. The goods included raincoats, puffer jackets, tents, blankets, sleeping bags, feminine hygiene products, and baby care products. We want everyone to be safe and pull through.
Increased Collaboration with the Alain Rouveure Nepal Fund
Since 1979, Alain Rouveure has been dedicated to the development of fundamental social work in underdeveloped rural areas. Numerous underprivileged kids in Nepal are given health and educational assistance through the Alain Rouveure Nepal Fund. Many kids also have the chance to pick up their studies again, thanks to Alain.
To help more children, Alain approached us. Sharing the same values as Alain, we were very happy to sponsor a 7-year-old girl, Rina, and pay her future school fees and living expenses, hoping she can continue her education and change her destiny.
