In August 2019, Nanjing CLEN Energy established the CLEN Charity Fund in Children-Care Foundation on behalf of every Spooky2 customer. Each order contributes one dollar to this charity to support children in need. And since January 2021, the contribution has been increased to 2 dollars for each order, so more funds can be used to help children in need. More than 200 children have been helped over the last two years.

Each dollar that we have collected are from your orders. Our charity work could not have been done without the support from our Spooky2 customers. It is our kind customers who made every project possible. We are so glad you are willing to give us this opportunity to establish a platform and complete something meaningful for society on your behalf.
In this blog, we will share some of the charity work we have done over the past two years. Also, we will some projects that we are planning for the future.
Charity Project (2019-2020)
Care for the Future, Share the Love – National Defense Public Welfare Summer Camp
In July 2019, CLEN, together with Care-children Foundation, China Taiping Insurance, Red Epaulettes Organization and Nanjing Tongxin Juvenile Protection and Service Centre, jointly organized a National Defense Summer Camp. CLEN sponsored 5 children to participate in the summer camp. 39 students joined this camp. There were students from poor backgrounds and children who were enthusiastic about charity work. The project was a three-day training camp. All trainees were led by professional instructors to learn about safety and self-rescue skills such as fire escape, earthquake self-rescue, military training, and some courses on mental wellness. By the end of the training camp, students could enhance their self-confidence, improve teamwork skills, and form an optimistic attitude.

Sponsorship of Happy Summer 10+1 Child Care and Summer Camp in 2020
In response to problems such as poor children’s low academic performance, being unattended during summer school holidays, difficult financial conditions, etc., CLEN, Care-children Foundation, Nanjing Tongxin Juvenile Protection and Service Centre and several other social groups jointly funded a Happy Summer 10+1 Child Care and Summer Camp from July 27th to August 7th. This event consisted of a 10-day child care service plus one day at summer camp.

One-to-one financial support
Currently, CLEN is supporting 10 children in Jiangbei region (300 yuan per child every month), 1 child in Xuanwu region (500 yuan per month), 4 children’s tuition fee in Anhui Province, and 1 child’s house rent in Jiangbei region. So far, CLEN has funded a total of over 23,000 yuan.
This year, CLEN established CLEN Home for Children (Jiangbei Region) in February and CLEN Home for Children (Gaochun Region) in March.
