If you are always disconnecting generators and then when you reconnect, it would be a different port number. So, how to recognize which generator is on which channel without testing them with a program?
You can label each Generator and then you can go to Device Manager and select Com Ports then go to properties/port settings/advanced and manually change them to the Port you want them to be if it is available.

Helpful. AND how do you identify each generator?
Hi, DUDLEY. There are two ways to identify generators in the Spooky2 software.
1. Selecting Identify Generators in the Utils Menu. All generators will display the generator number on their screens.
2. Tick Display Port Number in the system tab. When Spooky is restarted, the generator number will be displayed on the generator screen whenever it is stopped.

I and maybe many others are not regular Window users (I have been a MAC user all my life) and find it difficult to navigate within Windows. Example: Where do you start to find “go to Device Manager and select Com Ports” in Windows 10? Is is from the desktop or within the Spooky2 software?
Hi, we are really so sorry to bring you this trouble and our engineers are trying to make our Spooky2 software compatible with other computer systems. Please give us more time:)
You need to find it from your desktop. For more details, please feel free to send your questions to [email protected], our support team will reply to you ASAP and guide you in specific operations.
