One of our core members Jeff Kaczor shares his experience of killing mold using plasma tube. Hope these could bring more ideas for you in the case of killing mold. Please check the following details:
Here are some specifics in terms of range to test cases. First I don't have a house full of mold, so my test is not indicative to a full blown mold infestation. I had samples and localized locations that I let grow to run my tests.
1. Mold prevented from growth on expired bread samples using 8 hour sweeps once at least every 3 days. Growth prevented for 3 months. Growth did happen after not running the sweeps for a week.
Distance: 20-25 feet through one wall.
2. Mold and stale green smell eliminated underneath house where soil repeatedly gets wet. Upon future exposure to moisture (like a rain) no more smell.
Distance: 30-35 feet and angled down to bottom of tri-level. Had to pass through at least 3 barriers (walls and floor).
3. Mold growth allowed to grow in upstairs bathroom corner had notable change in color and texture - turned powdery. This is with conditions to allow growth being repeatedly applied.
Still required manual scrubbing to remove residue.
Distance: 65-70 feet and angled up to top level of tri-level. Had to pass through 4 barriers.
Note: As long as I keep up the 8 hour sweeps at least once every 3 days, new growth would not occur.
If one does not remove the source of an issue, it will only return. This is true for pathogens as it is for mold. If I continually expose myself to someone sick, I may no longer get sick if my immunity has adapted, but I still have a chance for re-infection, only now my body responds and kills it before it becomes a problem.
Where conditions exist for life to exist, it will manifest.
So while I can kill the mold that exists with the plasma (also did this with remote before I had plasma), if the conditions for mold exists, it will grow. Super expired bread kept in a plastic bag with moisture is just begging to grow mold.
Mold spores are almost always present in the air if you have had any growth in the first place. Like in my test in the bathroom, had I been unable to grow it in the first place, my test would have been mute.
