Disks sit between each vertebra in the spine and act as a cushion for your spinal bones. When herniated disk occurs, one of these disks tears or leaks, restricting you from bending or moving freely. These disks or leaks are common and can appear anywhere in the spine, but in most cases, they are found in the lower back or the neck.

Herniated discs are one of the leading causes of pain in the neck, arms, back, and legs (sciatica). They can indeed cause inconvenience and cause disturbing pain in our bodies. So, how can we save ourselves from this non-stop pain and be more energized every day?

Discs naturally degenerate as we age, so even a minor strain or twisting motion can cause a herniated disc. An overstrain or injury may also contribute to a disk rupture. And there are some other factors, including:

  • Excessive weight.
  • Repetitive motions.
  • Sudden strain from improper lifting or twisting.
  • Long-term poor sitting and standing posture.
  • Lifting heavy objects.
  • Smoking.

In most cases, pain from a herniated disk will gradually go away with time.

Still, here are some home remedies available to relieve herniated disc pain:

1. You can rest for one to three days, but still, be sure to avoid long periods of rest to prevent joint stiffness.
2. Take an OTC pain reliever, like ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
3. Apply heat or ice to the affected area.

However, when none of the methods above work for you or you can feel that the pain is worsening over time, it is important that you seek medical help immediately.

How To Relieve Herniated Disc Pain Using Sooky2

Contact Mode

Here is a real customer’s testimonial from one Spooky2 user who has a herniated disc:

“When my bulging/herniated discs play up, I have had success with pain relief using the electrodes placed on either side of my spine. I highly recommend the Spooky2.”

As our user mentioned in her testimonial, Spooky2 Contact Mode has been proven effective in relieving herniated pain.

Place Spooky2 Tens Pads on each side of your spine, and choose the suitable frequencies from Spooky2 software to run. You can type the keywords in the Presets/Programs tab to find these frequencies, such as “pain” and “spine”, etc. Select the correct Contact – Healing Shell Preset to run them.

Remote Mode

Remote mode is an ideal transmission mode for people who are always on business trips or want to help a relative who is living far away. And here, we would recommend one very popular preset – Song of the Spine (R) EV (CUST).

Songs of the Spine is based on the 440 Hz scale. The source of these frequencies came from Dr. June Leslie Wieder, who used tuning forks and a frequency sound generator from the 440 Hz scale to identify and tune each vertebra of the spine. This preset uses Manuel Mallos’ remote figured frequencies.

Currently, you can only run this preset using Spooky2 Remote mode. Connect your Spooky2 Remote to the ‘BN’ port of Spooky2 Boost and load the preset to your generator.

PEMF Mode or Cold Laser Mode:

Spooky2 PEMF Coil and Cold Laser Devices are also good options for herniated disc pain. If you have both accessories, you can apply them both at the same time or alternatively for maximum effectiveness. Make sure you select the correct Shell Preset based on the type of accessory you are using.
