More Than Bandages: Spooky2 for Chronic Wounds Leave a comment

Living with chronic, non-healing wounds can be exhausting. Spooky2 is here to offer a gentle, non-invasive approach that moves beyond antibiotics and endless bandages. Our method aims to support your body’s natural recovery through dedicated frequency programs. In this article, we’ll explore how Spooky2 addresses the complex nature of chronic wounds and diabetic foot care specifically.

For Ulcerative / Slow-Healing Wounds

Chronic ulcerated wounds, often referred to as chronic ulcers, are persistent open sores on the skin that fail to heal through the normal ordered phases of wound repair within an expected timeframe (typically 4-12 weeks). Underlying conditions such as diabetes, venous insufficiency, arterial disease, neuropathy, or prolonged pressure can lead to a disrupted healing process (hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, remodeling). We have presets targeting chronic ulcerated wounds and slow-healing wounds in our JW Peptides library. You can find them under the Presets tab.

Below are some additional programs recommended to promote wound healing. They can be applied with a Healing shell. Find them under the Programs tab. (Read more on how to use a shell preset here: https://www.spooky2-mall.com/blog/how-to-make-your-own-presets-out-of-shell-presets-october-software-version/)

  • Wound Healing (XTRA)
  • Healing Acceleration (XTRA)
  • Inflammation (XTRA)

For pressure ulcers or bedsore, you can also run some targeting frequencies in a similar way:

Aside from the above programs, it is helpful to run a biofeedback scan to find out pathogens that potentially hinder your healing process and pinpoint the frequencies you need. BFB presets are located under the Presets tab. While Spooky2 uses frequencies to promote wound healing, it is most effective to combine proper everyday care procedures:

  • Stay Hygienic: Clean the wound area gently with saline or a physician-recommended cleanser every day. Avoid harsh chemicals like hydrogen peroxide or alcohol unless specifically advised, as these can actually damage the delicate new cells trying to close the gap.

  • Keep Skin Moisturized: A wound that is too dry will scab over and stall; one that is too wet will macerate (soften and break down). Use specialized sterile dressings to maintain the perfect balance of moisture.

  • Reduce Pressure: If the wound is on a foot or a bony area, it is best to remove the pressure. Use specialized cushions or orthotics to ensure blood flow isn’t being physically cut off by the weight of your body.

The Specific Challenge: Diabetic Foot

Diabetic foot care requires a specialized approach because the underlying causes are multi-layered. Neuropathy makes injuries difficult to get noticed and easy to be further traumatized by continuous walking. Poor circulation leaves tissues starved of oxygen and nutrients. High glucose feeds bacteria and creates a “sticky” environment that hinders cell movement. And immune dysfunction leads to long-term inflammation. With these factors, a tiny wound can quickly escalate into a serious ulcer.

In addition to the programs listed in the above section, Spooky2 offers specific programs designed to address the vascular and infectious components of diabetic foot:

The first three programs can be run under a Healing shell, and the following MW programs can be applied with the MW Emulate 20V shell preset.

Managing an active diabetic foot ulcer requires more than just a bandage or a frequency program; it requires a meticulous daily protocol to prevent infection and encourage tissue growth. While some procedures share with the said chronic wound care routines, there are some additional tips for diabetic foot ulcers:

  • Mirror Inspection: As nerve sensitivity is often compromised, it is vital to check the skin around your dressing daily for any new redness, warmth, or swelling. Use a mirror to see the bottom of your feet. If you notice a foul odor or unusual drainage through the bandage, contact your specialist immediately.
  • Stable Glucose & Balanced Nutrition: These are your non-negotiable foundations. Elevated glucose levels and nutrient gaps sabotage your body’s self-recovery and can lead to severe complications.

Nota bene: Do not apply any contact accessories on your wound or the surrounding skin tissues. Direct electrical current can irritate sensitive, damaged tissue.

For chronic wound support, we recommend remote mode. With remote mode, you can receive frequencies 24/7 without physical contact. This provides consistent, systemic support while allowing the wound site to remain undisturbed and sterile.
